Description

We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Sherman, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to provide outstanding technical support to both students and staff. The role involves a mix of desktop support and light networking tasks, ensuring smooth operations across multiple campuses.

Title: Desktop Support

Pay: $25 per hour

Duration; 6 month Contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive desktop support for staff and students, including resolving hardware and software issues.

• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory accounts and permissions.

• Install and maintain software applications, including specialized programs for educational purposes.

• Monitor and respond to service desk tickets in a timely and detail-oriented manner.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting for network connectivity and technical issues.

• Support Single Sign-On processes to ensure seamless access to systems.

• Travel to campuses and offices within a 3-hour radius for onsite technical assistance.

• Assist with the deployment and configuration of Windows 10 systems.

• Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and user experience.

Requirements • Proficiency in Active Directory management and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.

• Experience with basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.

• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and processes.

• Understanding of Single Sign-On technologies and their implementation.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and students.

• Willingness to travel for day trips to provide onsite support.
