CNC Operator & CNC Machinist

Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Operator, where you will work with advanced CNC Mills or Lathes to perform machining operations including turning, boring, facing, and threading. Depending on your skill level, you may be responsible for setting up and running mills/lathes or strictly operating the machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate CNC Mills or Lathes based on skill level.

+ Perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts like castings, forgings, and bar stock.

+ Load and unload materials and change out tools as necessary.

+ Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure quality control.

+ Learn and develop skills for long-term setups.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with CNC Mills or Lathes.

+ Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

+ Familiarity with machining operations and machine shop environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong soft skills.

+ Experience with specific machines like Doosan, Fanuc, Haas.

+ Knowledge in machine setup and machining processes.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
