Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for handling a variety of electrical reactive maintenance tasks. Each shift begins with a work order, and you will be tasked with troubleshooting and maintaining photo eyes, sensors, controls, and rewiring 480V motors. The role involves VFD and drive replacement, using Ethernet for troubleshooting. You will also engage in some mechanical work and wrench turning, ensuring proper lockout/tagout procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical reactive maintenance, including troubleshooting and replacing photo eyes and sensors.

+ Engage in controls troubleshooting and rewiring of 480V motors.

+ Replace VFDs and drives, using Ethernet for troubleshooting, primarily handling the person 500 and 5000's.

+ Conduct mechanical work and wrench turning as necessary.

+ Transfer parameters from one drive to another.

+ Work with equipment such as 8-color flexo-presses, corrugators, die cutters, Kuka robotics, and roller-driven conveyors.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot equipment powered by hydraulics and pneumatics, ranging from 24V to 480V power sources.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.

+ Experience with the person 500 and 5000 troubleshooting.

+ Expertise in motor controls, particularly A-B PowerFlex 40 and 525 VFDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Robotics teaching and reteaching.

+ Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting and repair.

+ Blueprint reading and conduit running and installation.

+ Experience in industrial wiring and heavy reactive maintenance.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, fostering a good culture. Available shifts include a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 7AM-7PM or a Monday-Friday schedule from 7AM-3:30PM. Technicians may occasionally be on call during weekends, with a minimum of four hours paid if they need to come into the facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $76960.00/yr.
