    Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

    Job Description

    As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing assigned inventories across various departments. This role involves conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusting quantities, and managing records to ensure accuracy. You will play a crucial role in tracking parts usage, locating parts, and creating inventory logs with minimum and maximum quantities.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage assigned inventories for different departments.

    + Conduct periodic inventory counts and adjust quantities as needed.

    + Identify and separate parts by equipment manufacturer, including electrical and mechanical parts.

    + Track parts usage and locate parts efficiently.

    + Create and maintain accurate inventory logs with minimum and maximum quantities.

    + Use a scan method for inventory management.

    + Report discrepancies in inventory records.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory control and management.

    + Proficiency in handling forklifts and material handling equipment.

    + Ability to manage shipping and receiving processes.

    + Experience in warehouse inventory management and tool crib operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Capability to use a cart or bike for tool delivery when needed.

    + Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift, both gas and electric Hyster brand.

    + Experience in working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Content Management Systems (CMS).

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a large distribution center, covering over 3 million square feet. There are various shifts available: Sun-Thu from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Sun-Thu from 10 pm to 6:30 am, Tues-Sat from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, and Tues-Sat from 10 pm to 6:30 am. The role requires maintaining inventory in the cage area, with maintenance teams primarily accessing tools from this location.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Moreno Valley, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
