Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to troubleshoot and maintain various mechanical systems. This includes mechanical drive systems, conveyors, Forge Presses, Trim Presses, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems. You will be responsible for identifying faulty equipment, gathering parts, and performing necessary repairs while collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to enhance maintenance processes.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical drive systems, conveyors, Forge Presses, Trim Presses, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and other equipment.
+ Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing.
+ Gather parts and perform repairs.
+ Work with Maintenance Manager to continually update maintenance processes and systems.
+ Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders.
+ Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools.
+ Assess the condition of used, worn, or faulty parts using micrometers and calipers.
+ Maintain parts and tools inventory through parts consumption via work orders.
+ Enter job/work information into CMMS regularly.
+ Understand and safely work with electrical systems including 480VAC 3Ø, 120VAC, and 24VDC.
+ Maintain knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems through ongoing training and technical reading.
+ Adhere to safety and performance standards.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience.
+ Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
+ Basic understanding of electrical systems.
+ Comfortable with computers.
+ Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
+ Knowledge of CMMS preferred.
+ Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Willing to work off shifts and weekends as assigned.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
+ Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Advanced technical or college training preferred.
+ Military Experience in Engine, Aircraft, or Heavy Equipment Maintenance is a plus.
+ Experience with Predictive Maintenance such as Thermography, Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound, and Tribology (Oil Analysis).
+ CMRT, CRL Certification is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a heavy manufacturing facility with a temperature-controlled machining area. The production environment can be loud due to presses and hot in the summer, but breaks and fans are provided to ensure comfort. Facilities operate on 1st and 3rd shifts, with flexibility to work either. Hours for the E. 78th location are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66650.00 - $72800.00/yr.
