Job Title: General Production Worker - $17-$20/HR

Job Description

Join a leading company in hot runner technology for injection molded plastic applications across various global markets as a General Production Worker. This role involves performing light mechanical work using your hands and various tools in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform honing and cutting stock on a band saw.

+ Engage in mechanical assembly tasks.

+ Conduct benching operations.

+ Install heaters in production equipment.

+ Perform sandblasting as required.

Essential Skills

+ 1 - 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in mechanical tools and manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is modern, clean, and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including two pantries and a newly renovated cafeteria. Employees frequently encounter moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels, with occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions. The facility also offers an on-site gym for all workers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
