Job Description
We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector for a day shift position (6am-2:30pm) at a large machine shop in the racing department located in Costa Mesa, CA. The role involves disassembling and inspecting TRD accessories and engine parts using non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
Responsibilities
+ Disassemble TRD accessories and engine parts following established processes and techniques.
+ Conduct non-destructive testing on TRD accessories and engine parts adhering to designated protocols.
+ Confirm parts mileage and ensure they match mileage limits for each build/specification.
+ Assemble required components according to the build plan schedule.
+ Perform testing and inspection of components using specialized test equipment.
+ Update electronic build books with component information, including parts issuance to proper work orders.
+ Continuously improve engine build teardown and NDT processes and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of two years' experience in NDT/Inspection.
+ Strong mechanical skills with proficiency in using all hand and power-related tools.
+ Experience in setup, inspection, using calipers, micrometers, and quality control.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Hands-on assembly experience is desired, with automotive experience being a significant advantage.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, open-mindedness, teamwork, and effective communication.
+ Basic written communication skills with the ability to read and write in English.
+ Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel and Word.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
