Job Title: Material Stockroom Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Join our team as a Material Warehouse Associate in a climate-controlled environment. This offers a dynamic role where you will engage in various warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient flow and accuracy of materials.
Responsibilities
+ Receive and sign for inbound shipments, entering data into the ERP system.
+ Inspect received items for quality, quantity, and accuracy.
+ Identify and record any errors in receipts, including missing and/or damaged goods.
+ Stock incoming materials and ensure accurate inventory transactions.
+ Replenish production point of use and warehouse storage locations daily.
+ Pick and kit electronic components for production.
+ Issue materials as per work orders from the ERP system.
+ Communicate floor shortages/inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Control Specialist.
+ Perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory.
+ Monitor expected inbound shipments and prepare floor/storage locations accordingly.
+ Consolidate materials to free up space.
+ Identify and report non-conforming materials.
+ Manage bin transfers to ensure ERP system location accuracy.
+ Sort and stack empty pallets safely and securely.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
+ Perform automated and manual picking and packing.
+ Stand, walk, lift, bend, and push carts and materials for much of the shift.
+ Lift up to 70 lbs, with most items weighing 5 to 10 lbs.
Essential Skills
+ Basic computer skills to use the ERP system.
+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and correctly.
+ Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
+ Strong attention to detail for counting and verifying part numbers.
+ Steel-toed boots are required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Forklift experience operating a stand-up reach forklift and other material handling equipment is preferred.
+ Experience with MRP, ERP, stockroom, inventory, material handling, and pallet jack operations is beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
