    Immediate Hiring Material Handler

     

    1st shift 7 am - 3:30 pm

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Material Handler and contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. This full-time position requires commitment to the first shift, although hours may vary. Ideal candidates are punctual, communicative, diligent, detail-oriented, and enjoy working within a team.

    Responsibilities

    + Regularly lift 50+ pounds.

    + Fulfill production orders from the main warehouse location.

    + Pick and deliver parts as requested.

    + Operating stand up reach forklift.

    + Identify and label materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels by recording proper warehouse locations.

    + Replenish primary stock locations.

    + Perform and report inventory cycle counts.

    + Conduct daily mail runs between buildings.

    + Carry out light housekeeping and maintenance tasks, including the creation of crates for finished assembled products.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Oracle knowledge is a plus.

    + Material handling equipment operation experience is strongly preferred.

    + Stand up reach forklift operating.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Basic computer skills, including email and typing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in material handling, order picking, packing, and pallet jack operation.

    + Familiarity with SAP, ERP, and Oracle PeopleSoft systems.

    + Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

    + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Flexibility to squat, bend, kneel, and reach overhead or forward during work.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled, electronic manufacturing warehouse. The position requires manual order picking without much computer usage, climbing rolling ladders up to 14 feet, and regular lifting of 50 pounds.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
