Job Title: Assembler (Operator) - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assemblers (Operators) for our day shift positions. In this role, you will be responsible for the general manufacturing and mechanical assembly of Harley Davidson parts. Candidates should be prepared to work mandatory shift extensions or additional hours on scheduled days off, as required.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general manufacturing and mechanical assembly of parts such as saddlebags, handle bars, inner fairings, mirrors, and wheels/tires.

+ Utilize hand tools and RF Scan guns to scan products throughout the assembly process.

+ Follow detailed assembly instructions and perform repetitious tasks efficiently.

+ Work in a production environment and complete tasks in designated work cells.

+ Stand for up to 10 hours or more during the workday.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand tools.

+ Familiarity with RF Scan guns for product scanning.

+ Ability to perform light assembly work.

+ Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitious tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to be cross-trained in various tasks.

+ Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Work Environment

Work within designated cells to complete sub-assemblies of Harley Davidson parts. The facility is not climate-controlled, with warmer conditions in the summer and colder temperatures in the winter, especially near dock doors. Safety equipment such as glasses is provided, and appropriate footwear is required. Regular clothing is acceptable as long as it is non-offensive. This is a union environment, and candidates will be expected to pay union dues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.53 - $17.53/hr.
