Job Title: Kit Builder
Job Description
The kitter is responsible for building kits used in a variety of ways. They'll work in one of four assigned areas on a rotation to help move kits through the process and out the door to the customer for use.
Responsibilities
+ Operate in a designated space with a computer screen and approximately 200 small bins. Follow the computer's instructions to pick items and pack them into boxes, ensuring careful labeling and proper placement onto a rolling conveyor.
+ Verify the correct kits in the order tote, transfer kits from tote to box, label the box, and send it down the appropriate line (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
+ Demonstrate attention to detail and readiness to stand for extended periods.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean and organized production area with a constant hum similar to a giant vacuum. The facility is temperature-controlled, maintained at 70 degrees or below, requiring long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Employees have the opportunity to rotate between standing and sitting tasks, with a typical day involving up to 6 hours of standing. The facility is equipped with conveyors, but the job is primarily done by hand. One headphone are allowed in the pick cells, but phone usage is restricted. The facility offers a hot food cafeteria for day shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
