Job Title: Centerless Grinder Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Centerless Grinder Operator to set up and operate Cincinnati centerless automatic grinders. This role involves determining the proper feed and speed combinations for efficient operations and ensuring the precision of parts produced.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate Cincinnati centerless automatic grinders.

+ Determine proper feed and speed combinations for the grinding process.

+ Record piece counts and run times of production to ensure efficiency.

+ Troubleshoot the loading system for automatic grinders as needed.

+ Conduct inspections of parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation.

+ Proficiency in machine operation, particularly with centerless grinders.

+ Ability to perform changeovers and set up precision centerless grinders.

+ Experience with grinding TD, angle head, and button head parts.

+ Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with CNC operations.

+ Strong skills in inspection and measurement.

+ Experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly with aerospace fasteners.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
