    Salary: Minimum of $43,000 per the GTA Contract

    Minimum Requirements:

    NYS Certification

    Desired Qualifications:

    Experience teaching students with disabilities in both an integrated co-taught setting and self contain settings.

     

    Experience collaborating, planning, and differentiating lessons in the area of ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies with a general education teacher

     

    Experience writing and revising individual educational program (IEP) documents

    Position Summary/Responsibilities:

    Duties to include the following:

    -Plan and deliver specially designed instruction to students with disabilities

     

    -Implement and progress monitor students Individual Education Programs (IEP)

     

    -Collaborate with related service providers on a regular basis to discuss students growth and concerns

     

    -Develop students' IEPs and participate in Committee on Special Education Programming

     

    -Collect and analyze student data for instructional planning and progress reporting via IEP progress notes

     

    -Provide direction and guidance to support staff working in the classroom

     

    -Participate in staff meetings and professional learning communities as well as engage in professional learning opportunities.
