Job Description

We are seeking experienced Plumber Mechanics and Lead Level professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This role involves working on various jobs in Lynchburg, VA. The position requires proficiency in plumbing, installation, and maintenance tasks within a commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities

+ Run and press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe.

+ Work effectively with a helper.

+ Read blueprint drawings and install press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe at the Journeyman level.

+ Lead a crew consisting of a mechanic and a helper at the Lead Mechanic level.

+ Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.

+ Perform labor duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems.

+ Maintain clean work areas.

Pay:

2-4 years experience - up to $24/hr

Journeymen- up to $29/hr

Lead Mechanic- up to $32/hr MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A LEAD- be able to lead small crew

What You’ll Do:

+ Install and press copper, PVC, and cast iron piping

+ Read blueprints and install at Journeyman level

+ Lead a crew (for Lead role)

+ Perform general plumbing labor and maintenance

What You Bring:

+ 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience

+ Blueprint reading and soldering skills

+ Journeyman or Master Plumber License preferred

+ Ability to lead a team of 1–4

Sheet Metal Mechanic (Various levels)

• _Location:_ Lynchburg, VA

**💲** _Pay:_ **$20.00 – $32.00/hr** (Based on Experience)

• _Per Diem:_ Available (Based on 4–5 workdays)

Sheet Metal Mechanic Paying up to $32 - $100 a day per diem

Apprentice - up to $22/hr

2-4 years experience - up to $24/hr

Journeymen- up to $29/hr

Lead Mechanic- up to $34/hr (Must have experience as a Lead- overseeing small crews 2+ people)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics and Lead Mechanics with over 3 years of experience. The roles are available across multiple sites, including Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA.

Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from reading blueprints to leading teams, and will be working on projects with durations ranging from 6 months to a year.

What You’ll Do:

+ Install ductwork and perform sheet metal tasks

+ Read blueprints and measure/cut ductwork

+ Lead a crew (for Lead role)

+ Perform general HVAC and sheet metal labor

What You Bring:

+ 2+ years of commercial sheet metal experience

+ Crew leadership experience preferred

+ Proficiency with hand/power tools

+ Physical ability to lift and work in varied conditions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
