Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, performing tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling. The role involves accepting and rejecting First Article Inspections, identifying non-conformances, and making necessary corrections to dimensions.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, turning, grinding, and milling tasks.
+ Conduct First Article Inspections and decide on acceptance or rejection.
+ Identify non-conformances and correct dimensions as needed.
+ Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Edit CNC programs using M-Codes and G-Codes.
+ Monitor tooling and manage CNC troubleshooting.
+ Work with materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.
Essential Skills
+ Strong experience with tolerances and precision measuring tools.
+ Proficient in CNC set-up and troubleshooting.
+ Experience in using G-Codes and M-Codes.
+ Familiarity with CNC operation and machining.
+ CNC Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to perform supervisor duties in their absence.
+ Experience in training new employees.
+ Capability to prepare work orders.
+ NTMA knowledge.

Work Environment
Work in a clean facility equipped with newer machines. The role is available for two shifts: the 1st shift from 5:15 AM to 1:45 PM and the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
