Job Description
Join our team as a Technician, where you will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing electronic security systems for commercial customers. You will perform preventative maintenance inspections, respond to customer problems, and offer effective solutions. Your role will include resolving software or hardware issues at customer sites, ensuring ongoing service delivery, and handling urgent service response calls. You will also install security, alarm systems, and financial equipment across various commercial locations in Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse, with no overnight travel required.
Responsibilities
+ Install, repair, and service electronic security systems.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.
+ Respond to customer problems and offer solutions.
+ Resolve software or hardware issues at customer sites.
+ Handle urgent service response calls.
+ Install security/alarm systems and financial equipment.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of relevant experience.
+ Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
+ Installation skills including conduit, wiring, and blueprint reading.
+ Experience in fire alarm installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with alarm installation, access control, and CCTV.
+ Background in electrical schooling.
+ Knowledge of low voltage systems.
+ Understanding of security systems
Work Environment
Work primarily in commercial environments such as hospitals, office parks, and industrial facilities. The position requires working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, covering service and installations in NYC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
