    Job Title: 1st Class Marine Pipefitter

    **Location:** Virginia (NOB NNSY & Little Creek)

    **Job Type:** Contract to Hire

    Position Summary

    We’re looking for an experienced **1st Class Marine Pipefitter** with a valid DBIDS credential to join our shipyard team supporting operations at Naval Station Norfolk and Little Creek. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a skilled professional who excels in pipe bending and marine system installations. If you thrive in a hands-on, high-impact environment, we want to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Execute pipefitting tasks aboard marine vessels and shipyard facilities

    + Bend and shape pipes to fit complex marine systems

    + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise installations

    + Work with copper-nickel and carbon steel piping materials

    + Support threading, brazing, and general piping operations as needed

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Proven expertise in marine pipefitting and pipe bending

    + Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

    + Familiarity with piping systems including threading and brazing

    + Experience working with copper-nickel and carbon steel

    Additional Qualifications

    + Brazing experience preferred but not required

    + Must possess a valid DBIDS card for base access

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Comfortable with shipyard safety protocols and equipment

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
