    Job Title:** **Senior** **Calibration Technician

    Job Description

    The Senior Calibration Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of various instruments and equipment. The candidate will work onsite to ensure that measurement devices produce the proper output by inspecting, adjusting, and testing them against standards. The ideal candidate will possess previous lab/R&D equipment experience and a mechanical background. Additionally, strong business acumen and professional communication skills are essential as the role requires daily interfacing with clients.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments and equipment used to measure temperature, light, electrical, mechanical, weight, flow, pipette, pressure, and other properties.

    + Conduct install qualification, operational qualification, and return to service qualification of existing and new assets.

    + Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure conformance to established calibration standards.

    + Utilize calibration software and diagnostic tools to identify faults or non-conformance and track results.

    + Maintain detailed records of calibration checks, repairs, and alterations performed on each piece of equipment.

    + Create and edit technical documentation, including work instructions, safety guidelines, and procedural manuals, while ensuring alignment with ISO standards.

    + Ensure all calibration activities adhere to industry standards and regulations such as ISO, GMP, and NIST.

    The candidate will work onsite at an apparel testing lab in Beaverton, OR.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Beaverton, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
