Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will assist with the overall operation of the machine, ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Check receipt of components against order requirements.

+ Assist with removing and returning tuber parts, accessories, and components not needed for the current order.

+ Aid in tuber set-ups and adjustments as required.

+ Help shaft each roll to its proper position as a ply on the finished tube.

+ Segregate scrap and waste for disposal.

+ Prepare for the next scheduled order.

+ Maintain cleanliness of the tuber and adjacent area.

+ Stack tubes on pallets uniformly with machine speed.

+ Assist with other tuber job duties to ensure optimum operational efficiency, provided proper training has been received.

+ Inform the Operator of any substandard materials or mechanical and electrical repairs needed.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The work environment is not climate-controlled, but large industrial fans are provided at all stations. Be prepared for a hot environment, and you will rotate spots on the machines to break up the day. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, and ear plugs are required and provided. You may wear t-shirts and shorts, but avoid sweatpants or baggy clothing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
