Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment in both the facility and production areas. This position requires strong mechanical repair experience within an industrial manufacturing environment, particularly with corrugated machines and conveyor systems. The role involves working with hand and power tools and requires expertise in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, bearings, power transmission, machinery lubrication, and minor electrical tasks involving AC/DC motors.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair facility and production mechanical equipment effectively.
+ Install new or rebuilt machine parts.
+ Rebuild failed components.
+ Support the installation of new systems and equipment.
+ Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM manuals, and other manufacturer specifications.
+ Maintain an accurate parts inventory.
+ Ensure maintenance common areas are kept neat, clean, and safe.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with hydraulics, motors, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
+ Boiler and blueprint knowledge.
+ PLC and troubleshooting skills.
+ Mechanical repair and preventive maintenance expertise.
+ Conveyor maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Pipefitting, welding, or machining skills are beneficial.
+ Minimum of four (4) years experience working in an industrial environment.
+ Ability to climb ladders, walk distances, work at heights on platforms, and work in tight/close spaces.
+ Automotive experience is a plus but not required.
+ Capability to operate machinery or industrial equipment and systems.

Work Environment
This role is within a corrugated packaging company that utilizes both older machines and state-of-the-art technology. T **he position involves rotating shifts: one week on the first shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and the next week on the second shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), primarily from Monday to Friday and most Saturdays. Training will occur on the first shift for about two weeks before transitioning to the rotating schedule.** The facility is non-climate controlled, being hot during the summer and maintaining mild temperatures in the winter due to machine-generated heat.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57000.00 - $72321.00/yr.
