    Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Worker where you will perform tasks on the production line, including running equipment, inspecting, stacking, separating, counting, and packing products. You will conduct quality checks, record information accurately, and monitor machinery to ensure all products meet performance specifications and requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor production line equipment.

    + Inspect and pack products.

    + Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain accurate records.

    + Ensure machinery and equipment function correctly and meet performance specifications.

    + Ascend or descend stairs and ladders to access different parts of the machinery and production line.

    + Maintain pace with machine production rates.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months to 1 year of production experience.

    + Entry-level position requiring 0 to 2 years of experience.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new skills.

    + Willingness to work hard and adapt to various tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with general labor, packaging, QA checks, and inspection.

    + Proficiency in using a tape measure.

    + Ability to load and handle materials.

    Work Environment

     

    Our production workers operate indoors in a manufacturing and production environment, which may include exposure to high or precarious places, moving machinery, and marked changes in temperature and humidity. Workers may also encounter dust, odors, and fumes, and should be prepared for a loud environment. The team size is approximately 90 people per shift. The dress code includes wearing shorts or jeans, a clean work shirt, and steel toe (or composite) shoes.

     

    + Shifts are structured as follows: A/B Shift: 6:45am-6:45pm, C/D Shift: 6:45pm-6:45am, Days: 6:30am-3:00pm Mon-Fri, Nights: 10:30pm-7:00am Sun-Thurs, Mids: 2:30pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri. Shift differentials include $1.50 for mids and $1.75 for other shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.79 - $18.54/hr.
