Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Technician who is adept at reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of power tools such as torque wrenches, grinders, welding equipment, drills, and saws. A strong mechanical inclination and a willingness to learn new processes are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

+ Read and follow Bills of Materials to ensure accurate assembly.

+ Ensure finished products meet quality standards.

+ Troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Experience with a range of power tools including torque wrenches, grinders, welding, drills, and saws.

+ Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with measuring tools, mechanical and electrical assembly, automotive maintenance, and quality control.

+ Ability to read electrical blueprints.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large, clean, and well-lit manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled. Openings are available across various shifts: 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am. A $2 shift differential is offered for employees working the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $47840.00/yr.

They offer 3 different benefit packages for health/dental/vision, match 50% of what you contribute to your 401k up to 8% (they'd match 4), offer 3 food trucks on site Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday for all employees, paid holidays, financial advisor and health coach available.
