Job Title: Installation Laborer/Lead

Job Description

We are seeking motivated Installation Laborers and Leads to join our team, specializing in both commercial and residential fencing projects. As part of our team, you will assist in the installation of fences on various residential projects and commercial construction sites, primarily focusing on Residential Wood and Commercial Chain Link fences.

Responsibilities

+ Install various types of fencing, including Chain Link and Wood fences.

+ Perform client designs and install the requested fencing.

+ Utilize tools such as post hole diggers, shovels, clamshell diggers, tile spades, and digging bars to dig holes for fence posts.

+ Prepare, stage, and assist with loading materials and appropriate tools into the truck.

+ Assist with installations, conduct quality checks, and oversee job progression.

+ Lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally 70 lbs, as required.

+ Work primarily outdoors in various climates and environments.

+ Perform construction tasks such as measuring, cutting, nailing, and setting concrete.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor, tape measure usage, power tools, and fence installation.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Ability to assist the foreman in all aspects of fence installations and repairs.

+ Experience in working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

+ Experience in digging holes and mixing concrete.

+ Skills in landscaping, construction, and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1-2 seasons of fencing or construction experience, or experience working outdoors.

+ Experience in concrete, underground work, and carpentry.

+ Capability of lifting 50+ lbs and performing manual labor.

Work Environment

Work environment includes residential neighborhoods and commercial sites, involving both new construction and existing structures. As a family-owned fence installer company, you will work in the field, subject to weather conditions such as hot summers and wet falls.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of NA, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
