    Job Title: Field Site Manager

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Field Site Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in preparing on-site work areas, supervising installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards. You will troubleshoot technical and resource issues, manage communication with project managers, and oversee equipment storage. Your expertise will contribute to building the service team and refining our execution process.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare on-site work areas in coordination with the Project Manager.

    + Plan and supervise installation, assembly, commissioning, and qualification activities.

    + Perform hands-on work when needed, especially on smaller projects.

    + Ensure site safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance according to GMP standards.

    + Troubleshoot technical, scheduling, and resource issues.

    + Manage communication with company and customer project managers and leadership.

    + Oversee receipt, inspection, and proper storage of equipment and materials.

    + Provide on-site client training and instruction to team members.

    + Contribute off-site to building the service team and improving execution processes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in technical field work (mechanical, electrical, automation), ideally in (bio)pharma GMP environments.

    + 3+ years of experience as a foreman, site supervisor, or manager in mechanical or process system installation and commissioning within a regulated industry.

    + Ability to organize work effectively and lead a team under pressure.

    + Understanding of specifications and contractual requirements, with the ability to handle nonconformances.

    + Experience in catching people doing things right, celebrating successes, and providing constructive feedback.

    + Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) across North America, with 2-3 trips to Europe annually for training and collaboration.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Residence in the Charlotte, NC area is strongly preferred.

    + Mechanical experience with large equipment such as pharma vessels or skids.

    + Automation and electrical experience

    + Familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems.

    + Working knowledge of controls, basic programming in ladder logic, structured text, PLC networking, and wire termination.

    + Experience in GMP or FDA-regulated environments.

    Work Environment

    This is a full-time position requiring approximately 80% travel, primarily within the United States. The role offers a hybrid work setup when not traveling, with occasional trips to Europe for training and collaboration. As a leading provider in the pharmaceutical industry, you will work with large-scale equipment and partner with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies globally.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
