Job Title: Dispensing TechnicianJob Description

Join our dynamic and fast-paced team as a Dispensing Technician, where you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for filling prescriptions, managing canisters, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging in a production-oriented environment. This role requires standing 100% of the time and demands precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

+ Perform 100% of the prescription filling, including cards, bulk, and toting.

+ Rotate through the canister refill area to fill canisters for the machines.

+ Ensure accurate matching of drugs to labels and fill prescriptions correctly.

+ Utilize frameworks to scan labels and bottles, then package them appropriately.

+ Operate the canister management program by clicking on simple buttons.

Essential Skills

+ Licensed Pharmacy Technician with the State of Kansas.

+ At least 6 months of pharmacy experience.

+ Basic computer skills to operate necessary programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6+ months of retail or long-term care filling experience is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is located in a Long-Term Care, closed-door pharmacy that resembles a large pharmaceutical warehouse. The work environment is highly production-oriented, requiring standing for the entire shift. Available shifts are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm or 10 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating weekends once per month from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
