    Job Description

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.

The Director of Identity and Access Management is the global leader responsible for defining, executing, and evolving the company’s IAM strategy and services across a workforce of ~90,000 employees in nearly every country. Reporting directly to the CISO, this role oversees IAM as a critical enterprise security platform — balancing regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and frictionless workforce access. The IAM Director leads global teams across Directory Services (AD, AAD, SSO, MFA), Certificate Management, Identity Governance (user access reviews, recertifications), Privileged Access Management (CyberArk), and SAP GRC (role design, entitlements, FireFighter).

    Purpose & Accountabilities:

The IAM Director is accountable for establishing a multi-year global IAM vision and roadmap, aligned with Zero Trust principles and the company’s Product & Platform Operating Model. This role ensures the delivery of secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity services that enable productivity and digital trust across the enterprise and keep the customer identity journey experience at the centre of the strategy. A core responsibility is governing identity and access controls to meet diverse global regulatory requirements, including SOX, GDPR, CCPA, CSL, DSL, PIPL and other regional mandates. The Director drives modernization initiatives such as the adoption of cloud-native IAM capabilities, automation of joiner/mover/leaver processes, and federation across enterprise platforms enabling the As Common As Possible principle. Equally important is the responsibility to build and mature a high-performing global IAM team, embedding, leading and role modelling a product and platform mindset, implement and enact agility, and continuous improvement to ensure IAM is delivered as a strategic enabler for the business, driving value, performance and cyber security for our colleagues, customers and consumers.

    Deliverables:

+ A multi-year IAM strategy and product backlog, refreshed regularly to align with business priorities, risk posture, and regulatory change.

+ Enterprise-wide IAM standards, policies, and reference architectures covering human and non-human (machine/service) identities, certificates, and entitlements.

+ Seamless integration of IAM services (SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA, SAP GRC, certificate management) into global platforms, applications, and cloud services.

+ High-quality execution of User Access Reviews and recertification processes (for workforce and machine identities), enabled by automation, analytics, and strong business engagement.

+ Ongoing business stakeholder engagement and education, ensuring role designs, access models, and segregation-of-duties controls are fit for purpose and clearly understood by application, product, and platform owners.

+ End-user engagement programs (awareness campaigns, digital adoption, training) to improve adoption, reduce access friction with a crisp and clear focus on user identity journey and experience.

+ IAM operating model grounded in Agile product delivery with measurable velocity, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration with platform and product teams.

+ Regular dashboards and executive reporting for the CISO, ExCo, Audit, and regulators, demonstrating risk reduction, compliance, adoption, and service performance.

+ A maturing IAM platform organization with the right skills, structures, and vendor/partner ecosystem to support business growth and technology change.
