Materials Handler Job Description

**Responsibilities** for a **Materials Handler** include but are not limited to:

+ **Inventory Management:** Process received goods using **web-based inventory management** and **corporate ERP systems** (SAP, Oracle, etc.), perform **stocking actions** , and accurately **issue** materials to build teams.

+ **Warehouse Operations & Safety:** Assist with **loading/unloading** freight, utilize **warehouse equipment** (forklift, pallet jack), and ensure policies are enforced for **efficient and safe** operations.

+ **Compliance & Inspection:** Inspect all inbound/outbound shipments and ensure proper **packaging and labeling compliance** for **Dangerous Goods** material in accordance with applicable laws.

+ **Process Improvement:** Take ownership of **issue resolution** on warehouse escalations, and evaluate current processes to **highlight gaps** and **implement solutions** to improve overall operational readiness.

**Candidates** for **Materials Handler** must meet the following requirements to be considered:

+ **Experience:** **1-3 years of relevant experience** in warehouse operations, including **shipping, receiving, inventory control, goods receipt, and issue out** . **High volume** or automotive experience is strongly preferred.

+ **Systems Proficiency:** Experience in a common **ERP or WMS system** (such as SAP or Oracle) and basic **computer skills** .

+ **Equipment Certification:** **Forklift experience is a must** . Must be able to assist with loading/unloading and maintain material handling equipment.

+ **Education:** **High school diploma is required** . Higher education is a plus.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
