**Job Title:** Inventory Accountant (Temp-to-Perm)
**Location:** Seymour, CT
**Shift:** 1st Shift
**Pay Rate:** $22–$25 per hour
**Duration:** Minimum 6 months
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Accountant to support a 6-month project in our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will manage inventory data, track fluctuations in inventory levels, and analyze product costs. This role is temp-to-perm, offering the opportunity for long-term placement based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage and maintain accurate inventory data, including tracking changes and fluctuations in stock levels.
+ Analyze inventory costs and provide regular reporting on product valuation.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and accounting teams to ensure accurate inventory records.
+ Identify and investigate discrepancies in inventory and costs, recommending corrective actions.
+ Support month-end and project-related reporting requirements.
+ Assist in process improvements related to inventory management and cost tracking.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in inventory accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
+ Experience in electronics manufacturing is highly preferred.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $22–$25 and the potential for permanent placement based on performance.
**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
