Job Title: AutoCAD Designer
Job Description
As an AutoCAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components. You will focus on the design of grocery store delivery stations, working closely with Design Engineers to ensure that delivery station layouts meet specified requirements and standards.
Responsibilities
+ Create detailed interior CAD drawings with a high level of accuracy and completeness.
+ Collaborate with Design Engineers, CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering, Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver approved design sets.
+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders to review permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans.
+ Support the design quality control process through peer reviews, adherence to design checklists, and feedback from Design Engineers.
+ Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, expansions, and retrofits to support safety, quality, productivity, and capacity increases for delivery stations.
+ Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD drafting and design skills.
+ Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse environments.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including construction documents, design, and drafting.
+ 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
+ 3+ years of project coordinating experience.
+ 3+ years of experience in drafting facility layouts, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural environments.
+ Extensive operating experience in AutoCAD 2018 or later, preferably in Architecture, within a Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture capacity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
+ Associate's Degree.
+ Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail.
+ Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communications and meeting facilitation.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in downtown Bellevue, WA, requiring three days a week at the site. There is parking available but it is paid parking and this role does not offer an Orca Card. The role operates within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting the design of grocery store delivery stations. The team focuses on maintaining a collaborative and detail-oriented work culture.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
