Description
• Create and revise 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and IronCAD (or other CAD software if proficient). • Collaborate with shop floor personnel to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable. • Assist in reverse engineering of parts and components. • Walk between shop locations to gather information and communicate with team members. • Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with ASME codes (preferred but not required). • Support the transition of knowledge from our current consulting drafter.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Mechanical engineering background (degree not required). • Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or IronCAD; familiarity with Inventor or other CAD tools is a plus. • Understanding of machining, fabrication, and metal bending processes. • Shop floor experience is highly valued. • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings with precision. • Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific tools and workflows.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
