    Job Title: Network Security Engineer

     

    The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure that supports and protects our client's corporate network and cloud environments. This person will partner with compliance, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure secure and reliable connectivity between devices and systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on network engineering experience

    • Two-year degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field preferred

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting

    • Experience creating detailed network diagrams

    • Proficiency in direct CLI configuration of network devices

    • Background implementing cybersecurity best practices on network infrastructure

    • Familiarity with ZTNA concepts and architecture

    • Capability to investigate and resolve network connectivity issues and security incidents

    • On-call availability, primary contact for networking, sometimes during off-hours

    • Must be local to Durham; hybrid schedule

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
