Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to develop clear, efficient processes and work instructions for build-to-print components. This role will lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and support smooth production ramp-up, providing technical support for machined parts and complex assemblies throughout development.
Responsibilities
+ Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), facility layouts, and assembly line configurations.
+ Champion Lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production challenges and enhance workflow.
+ Serve as a versatile, hands-on resource with expertise in fabrication, welding, and machining.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) with the ability to take a drawing to full rate production.
+ Strong background in aerospace engineering.
+ Proficiency in critical inspection processes, FAI, work instructions, and test fixtures.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering (with aerospace experience).
+ 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Lean Six Sigma certification.
+ Experience in metallurgy and welding is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is onsite in an aerospace manufacturing facility operating on a 4/10 schedule, with potential work on Fridays. The team consists of six manufacturing engineers reporting to a supervisor, aligned to specific programs but also flexible to float as needed. Engineers are expected to be hands-on with the manufacturing floor, solving new problems daily in a rapidly growing environment, with exposure to a variety of new projects.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, Mississippi.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
