    Job Title: Phlebotomist in a Dr Office in Goodyear, AZ

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in a medical office setting. This role involves drawing blood from patients, processing specimens, and preparing samples for analytical testing. You will be responsible for the collection, receipt, and accurate data entry of biological specimens into our computer system, ensuring adherence to pre and post-analytical testing protocols. You will also perform specified analytical tests as assigned, following the guidelines of our Code of Conduct.

    Responsibilities

    + Draw blood and perform specimen processing in a medical office setting.

    + Collect and receive biological specimens, ensuring accurate entry into the computer system.

    + Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.

    + Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.

    + Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience (excluding donor, plasma, and MA phlebotomy).

    + Proficiency in blood draw, specimen collection, laboratory processes, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and patient care.

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish.

    + Comfortable working independently.

    + Possession of a GED or high school diploma.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting.

    Work Environment

    You will work as a phlebotomist in a doctor's office, drawing blood from patients and collaborating closely with medical assistants. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement, including a career ladder to become a Phlebotomy Technician 2 with a pay increase. We prioritize internal promotions for leadership roles.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
