    Job Title: Phlebotomist (Float) – Johnson City, TN

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a reliable and skilled Phlebotomist to float between nursing homes in the Johnson City, TN area. The primary reporting location will be a Patient Service Center, but the role involves traveling to multiple nearby facilities throughout the day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform 15–35 venipunctures per day using 21, 23, and 25 gauge needles (butterfly and straight sticks).

    + Follow a daily route with up to 4 stops (some days may include only 2).

    + Provide phlebotomy services primarily to geriatric patients in nursing home settings.

    + Support the PSC when route duties are completed early.

    Qualifications:

    + Phlebotomy certification is not required, but experience is preferred!

    + Prior experience working with geriatric patients is highly desirable.

    + Must be comfortable with high-volume blood draws and traveling between locations.

    Work Environment:

    + Combination of office (PSC) and nursing home settings.

    + Collaborative and supportive team environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
