Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, documentation, and development of next-generation electrical/controls-hardware standards.
Responsibilities
+ Develop high-level electrical/controls-hardware concepts, ensuring functionality, feasibility, quality, manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and timely completion.
+ Design circuit layouts for motor control, sensing, power distribution, communication, and cabling.
+ Uphold the Electrical group's standards of excellence in design development and provide guidance on local and national regulations and industry standards.
+ Review final designs and deliverables, ensuring a smooth transition to relevant stakeholders.
+ Mentor less-experienced employees, drive innovation, remove roadblocks, and foster consensus.
+ Consider impacts on other disciplines and optimize team members' expertise.
+ Serve as a resource for internal and external customers by providing detailed technical support on electrical/controls-hardware.
Essential Skills
+ Electrical Design
+ Material Handling
+ Conveyor Systems
+ Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical
+ Knowledge of NFPA standards
+ Ability to create electrical schematics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
+ 3+ years of industrial electrical design engineering experience
+ Experience with electrical design of material handling or industrial equipment
+ Familiarity with industrial ethernet and modern field buses (Profinet, TCP/IP, ASi, etc.)
+ Experience with EPLAN is a plus
+ Conveyor experience is advantageous
+ Experience with third-party panel shops
Work Environment
This position is based out of the Mason, OH office, with potential options for remote or hybrid work arrangements depending on experience. The role involves collaboration with a team of five other electrical engineers. The company is experiencing growth and offers opportunities to work on state-of-the-art technology within the material handling space.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $60.10/hr.
