Job Title: Research AssistantJob Description
As a Research Assistant, you will perform daily clinic and administrative tasks to support study coordinators with various study procedures. This role involves tasks such as administering Electronic Self-Assessment Questionnaires, managing the check-in process, assisting with informed consent, and providing support with instrumentation and photography. You will also aid in preparing test materials, making appointment reminders, and quality checking study documents. Additionally, you may assist in developing study paperwork and performing tasks for other departments as needed. All tasks are to be executed following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, applicable regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Assist coordinators with clinic tasks, including ESAQ administrations and check-in processes.
+ Support study preparation and conduct through administrative tasks such as test material preparation and quality checking documents.
+ Aid in the development of study paperwork for coordinators.
+ Ensure timely attendance at the clinic for assigned studies.
+ Perform tasks in compliance with GCP guidelines, SOPs, and work instructions.
+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and panelists and maintain positive interactions with peers and leadership.
+ Adhere to safety and Operational Integrity procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Customer service-oriented
+ Previous laboratory experience with training on equipment use
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to follow instructions and study protocols according to GCP guidelines
+ Experience in clinical trials, data entry, and laboratory settings
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a Science field (Microbiology, Health Studies, Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
+ Interest in Cosmetics
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment dedicated to cosmetics research. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. When sequester studies commence in late September/October, some studies will extend to 12-hour shifts starting at 6 or 7am, with shorter hours the following day. Standard office equipment such as computers and phones are routinely used.

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
