Job Title: Front Desk Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator with a strong customer service experience to join a dynamic and growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or a similar field, with an emphasis on making an excellent first impression for incoming patients.
Responsibilities
+ Make an excellent first impression for all incoming patients.
+ Check patients in and out for appointments and manage the clinic-wide schedule.
+ Monitor and facilitate patient compliance and readiness for their initial visit.
+ Schedule a wide array of appointments for patients and anesthesia for the surgical center.
+ Process patients’ payments and create receipt batches for Finance.
+ Utilize technology effectively, including Outlook, EMR systems, and payment platforms.
Essential Skills
+ Associate or Bachelor Degree.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Comfortable working in a growing and fast-paced environment.
+ Friendly with good interpersonal skills.
+ Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Hospitality experience preferred, such as work in a spa, hotel, or retail.
+ Experience in a front desk role in a medical office is a plus but not required.
+ Phlebotomy certification is advantageous.
+ Flexibility with schedule; start time between 6-8am with potential for weekend shifts.
+ A polished and professional demeanor.
Work Environment
The role is based in a busy fertility clinic located in Manhattan. The candidate must be able to start between 6am and 8am, working an 8.5-hour shift from Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. The clinic has a team of 12 Medical Assistants and 4 providers, handling 15 patients per provider daily. The environment is fast-paced, offering opportunities for growth and internal promotions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
