• Field Service Technician

    Actalent (Elk Grove Village, IL)


    Responsibilities

    + Test, troubleshoot, and repair production and field service electronics/mechanical assemblies, parts, and equipment.

    + Adjust and calibrate circuitry and components using electronics principles and theories.

    + Set up test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional and operational tests on electronic assemblies.

    + Travel to customer sites to perform installations and provide field support.

    + Write technical reports to describe and illustrate the overall performance of installed equipment.

    + Plan, coordinate, and conduct in-house product training sessions.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-3 years of experience in Electromechanical Service/Field Service or a Technical College Degree.

    + Soldering experience.

    + Proficiency in board-level circuit repair and analysis.

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical and PCB blueprints.

    + Strong communication skills, especially in client-facing scenarios.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.00/hr.
