    Now Hiring: Pharmacy Technician | Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences

     

    As a **Pharmacy Technician** , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safe and accurate prescription processing. From creating patient profiles to verifying prescription details, you’ll support pharmacists in delivering quality care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

     

    **Location** : Irving, TX (Must live within 2 hours)

    **Schedule** : Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (1-hour lunch)

    **Pay Rate** : $17.00-$ 19.00/hour

    Key Responsibilities

    • Enter and process new prescriptions accurately in the pharmacy system

    • Review prescriptions for completeness and contact physician offices for clarification

    • Verify patient information and physician authorization

    • Calculate correct dosage volumes (metric & apothecary conversions)

    • Assist pharmacists with safe medication distribution

    • Maintain clean, organized workstation and software accuracy

    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies

    Must-Have Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    1–3 years of pharmacy technician experience (data intake preferred)

     

    Valid Pharmacy Technician License

     

    Typing speed of 30+ WPM

     

    Reliable transportation & ability to commute onsite daily

     

    Strong verbal/written communication & organizational skills

     

    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

     

    _Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required_

    Physical Requirements

    • Professional office setting

    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach frequently

    • Lift/push/pull up to 15 lbs occasionally
