    Summary:

    The Digital Product Owner 3 provides day-to-day oversight of Product Owners within a given value stream or product stack, fosters a continuous flow of work to the agile teams by engaging with Product Managers to prioritize and sequence the work agile teams will take on. This position partners with IT Delivery Leadership to identify delivery strategy and solution definition (HOW), and ensures Features are ready for execution by partnering up with the Product Managers and identify WHAT, and ensures successful facilitation of scope mapping/grouping of Features into MMP/MVPs, identifying key dependencies, confirm MVP/MMPs readiness, OKRs, and other Sprint 0 entry criteria as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Serves as ‘chief product owner’ by coaching and managing product owners within a value stream or product stack.

    + Manages day-to-day execution of POs across teams, coaches, mentors, and develops high-performing colleagues.

    + Facilitates people leader responsibilities inclusive of staffing, performance management, etc.

    + Ensures that Features are ready for execution.

    + Works with Product Leaders and stakeholders to understand long-term roadmaps and OKRs the teams need to achieve.

    + Confirms MMP/MVP priorities and consults on priority and sequence of work to be executed based on ability to deliver.

    + Conducts initial story card mapping and identifies dependencies needed and timing for when they can be engaged.

    + Fosters a continuous flow of work in and through the agile teams, ensures teams are focused on the highest priorities, addresses delivery risks and blockers.

    + Engages with dependent partners (both internal and external) to assess timing for deliverables to be completed.

    + Monitors agile team demand and capacity.

    + Supports weekly and monthly status reporting efforts.

    + Serves as first point of escalation with Product Owners and addresses delivery risks, blockers, and escalates to Execution Director as needed.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree

    + 7 years of Online/Mobile Product Management or Digital project delivery experience in Consumer or Business and Commercial Banking

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous experience building and leading high-performing teams

    + New customer acquisition and on-boarding experience

    + 7+ years of professional experience in software development in a business or technical capacity

    + Experience overseeing development or Agile programs

    + Expert in the management of Agile projects including scrum

    + Experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Chief Agilist

    + Demonstrated interest and success in improving Agile execution

    + Exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinking, and creative problem solving

    + Proven written and oral communication skills including senior leadership presentation

    + Experience with the application of program execution metrics as well as project management approaches and tools

    + Experience using Agile methods for custom hardware or embedded software development

    + Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

    + Certification as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Frameworks
