    SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

    _Grain Merchandising (Summer 2026)_

    _JBS Live Pork is seeking a highly motivated and analytical summer_

    _intern to join our Grain Merchandising team. This internship provides a_

     

    _unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commodity_

    _procurement, market analysis, and supply chain operations within one_

    _of the largest pork production systems in the U.S. The intern will support_

    _the team in sourcing and managing feed ingredients critical to our live_

    _pork operations. This is a paid internship, and housing is provided while_

     

    _enrolled in the program._

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist in the procurement of grain and feed ingredients for JBS LivePork operations.

    + Monitor commodity markets, futures, and basis trends to supportmerchandising strategies.

    + Analyze supply and demand fundamentals and assist in developingmarket outlooks.

    + Support logistics coordination for inbound grain shipments to feed millsand production sites.

    + Help maintain vendor relationships and assist with contractmanagement and documentation.

    + Participate in cross-functional meetings with nutrition, production, andlogistics teams.

    + Complete a summer project focused on improving a process oranalyzing a market opportunity, with a final presentation to leadership.

    Qualifications

    + Currently pursuing a degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics,Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.

    + Strong interest in commodity markets, agriculture, and livestockproduction.

    + Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with commodity tradingplatforms is a plus.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-pacedenvironment.

    + Prior experience in agriculture or grain handling is beneficial but notrequired.
