Purpose:
The Marketing Manager - XTANDI will be a key member of the brand team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the yearly marketing plan and be responsible for development and execution of digital and omni-channel marketing initiatives focused on health care professionals (HCPs). This person is responsible for flawless execution of promotional tactics working in close collaboration with partners, including other members of the team including the Omnichannel Experience Lead, peer-to-peer lead, the partner company, sales teams, vendors, and a variety of internal stakeholders across functions.
Specific responsibilities will evolve based on the needs of the brand, lifecycle of the brand, and competencies required on specific projects.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
+ Implement and execute marketing plans that overcome business obstacles, drive market share, & achieve sales targets that optimize a targeted approach to media and messaging.
+ Lead tactical execution of promotional strategy for HCP omni-channel marketing, including media, website implementation, eDetails, social engagement, and related digital drivers. Ensure successful implementation of messaging to be channel-specific.
+ Measure effectiveness of channel performance on an ongoing basis and recommend & implement changes accordingly.
+ Work cross-functionally and across the co-promote to ensure alignment on strategy and implementation across several channels; the successful candidate will work in close conjunction with the Omnichannel Experience Lead for XTANDI and support related HCP functions (e.g. peer-to-peer, HCP Promo, Content Specialist, etc.) with digital expertise and insights generation.
+ Drive excecutional efforts supporting CRM, and integration of data generated across all channels and marketing automation that evolve tactics going forward.
+ Work cross-functionally to create alignment across various internal & external stakeholders to meet overall brand goals.
+ Organize the development and review of marketing/sales materials through the Material Approval Process (MAP).
+ Effective management and accountability of outside agencies in the following capacities: alignment with strategic execution, project estimate development, time management, and execution of project components, management recommendation and assuring consistency with Astellas goals, direction, and ethics.
+ Track and manage detailed budget for responsible tactics.
Quantitative Dimensions:
+ Sales Budget: Directly impacted by Tactical implementation and creative solutions toward implementation. This position will also indirectly contribute to the sales of other oncology and other franchise brand sales by collaborating across brands to share and leverage best practices across Astellas.
+ A and P Budget: Directly impacted by the efficient use of resources including management of vendors, negotiation for services both internally and externally and monitoring of budget.
Organizational Context:
The successful candidate will support the strategic direction and drive tactical execution of the multichannel program, while leveraging insights to generate ideas. This position reports to the XTANDI HCP and Payer Marketing Lead. This position will not have any direct reports.
Qualifications** **Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5 plus years of related, relevant experience (i.e., brand marketing omnichannel marketing, agency account management, market research, etc.).
+ Demonstrated ability to be a high-level contributor or leader of a project, process or function.
+ Must possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
+ Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Agency management experience
+ Knowledge & implementation omni-channel marketing, including media, website implementation, eDetails, social engagement, and related digital drivers is preferred
Preferred:
+ Digital marketing experience in pharma
+ Pharma CRM and omni-channel marketing, including media, website implementation, eDetails, social engagement, and related digital drivers experience
+ Oncology and/or Urology marketing experience
+ Proven track record in product management roles with demonstrated ability to drive performance with innovative tactics
+ Experience working in a partnership / co-promotion
Working Environment:
+ This position is based in Northbrook, IL and will require some on-site work.

Compensation Range:$107,000 - $153,000 (NOTE: Final Salary could be more or less, based on experience.)
