The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a pivotal part in maintaining the security and integrity of data systems and ensuring the protection of our clients' information. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity within a dynamic and evolving industry.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans on our information systems and network infrastructure. Recommend hardware/software adjustments as needed (including recommended software/hardware vendors)
+ Analyze security data and logs to detect and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities
+ Lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures
+ Take the lead in incident response and recovery efforts, including root cause analysis and mitigation strategies
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and address cybersecurity challenges
+ Stay up to date with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices. Recommend adjustments as needed
+ Provide technical support and guidance to employees on security-related matters
+ Design and implement cybersecurity awareness training and education initiatives for the organization
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
+ A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
+ Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and industry best practices
+ Familiarity with a variety of security tools and technologies
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
+ A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
+ Possession of relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is advantageous
Preferred Skills:
+ Knowledge of network security, cloud security, and endpoint security
+ Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
+ Understanding of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
+ Basic programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python or C+
