    Industrial Hygienist

    What we are looking for:

    The Industrial Hygiene Program Manager develops, implements, and oversees comprehensive industrial hygiene and environmental health programs across the enterprise. This role is responsible for identifying and controlling occupational and environmental health hazards, including chemical, physical, biological, and radiological exposures, as well as managing soil contamination and other environmental risks. The position ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations; conducts site assessments; manages remediation protocols; develops exposure control plans; and provides training to field staff and subcontractors.

    What you’ll do:

    + Champion the organization's IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture and drive integration of human performance principles to reduce exposure risks

    + Develop and lead industrial hygiene and environmental health programs tailored to construction operations.

    + Conduct exposure monitoring and hazard assessments for noise, dust, silica, chemicals, heavy metals, and other jobsite risks.

    + Oversee soil contamination assessments and coordinate environmental remediation efforts.

    + Develop and implement policies for exposure control, respiratory protection, and environmental health.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local regulations.

    + Provide technical expertise during planning, design, and execution of construction projects.

    + Lead investigations into occupational exposure incidents or environmental releases.

    + Design and deliver training on hazard recognition, mitigation strategies, and regulatory requirements.

    + Collaborate with safety, project managers, and field teams to embed industrial hygiene best practices into operations.

    + Maintain accurate record of sampling, analysis, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting.

    Who you are:

    + Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) - Required

    + Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.

    + Minimum 5 years of industrial hygiene experience (construction industry strongly preferred).

    + Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910, EPA standards, and applicable state/local regulations.

    + Experience conducting air sampling, noise monitoring, exposure assessments, and managing soil contamination issues.

    + Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills

    + Willingness to travel to project sites for support and oversight.

    What we offer:

    The annual base pay for this role is between $90,000 - $140,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for vehicle allowance and bonus.
