Be able to tie this to ISO 45001 requirements.

+ Lead, coach, and mentor EHS team members and cross-functional teams.

+ Identify, assess, and mitigate risk at the manufacturing and distribution center sites by developing a risk register and conducting risk assessments. Implement sustainable corrective actions to lower risk on a regular basis.

+ Provide expert-level management, understanding, and execution of the site’s environmental permits, including stormwater management, wastewater discharge, and Title V air permitting, ensuring all time-bound requirements, inspections, and reports are accurate and meet requirements.

+ Compile and understand the sites’ EHS legal regulatory requirements, ensuring controls are in place to meet and maintain compliance. Use EHS tools to document and record all requirements.

+ Provide EHS training to employees to meet legal and permit requirements as required by the site’s permits, processes, and programs, including but not limited to hazardous waste management and shipping, stormwater management, SPCC, and air emissions management.

+ Develop and implement programs designed to improve workplace health, focusing on ergonomics, safe behaviors, hazard identification, etc., in conjunction with Global EHS’s internal initiatives.

+ Provide guidance and information to all plant and distribution center personnel, including supervisors and managers, regarding regulatory compliance as it relates to employee health and safety.

+ Maintain safety contingency programs for all fire, spill, and other emergency response processes.

+ Manage the supervisor in ergonomics initiatives at the plant level to minimize the impact of musculoskeletal disorders.

+ Provide leadership for physical site security, including third-party provider management, C-TPAT requirement compliance, and investigation of security incidents.

+ Manage injuries in compliance with OSHA recordkeeping regulations and ensure the site maintains current environmental, safety, and security data on the Cority and EHS website, including maintaining OSHA 300 logs and injury/illness metrics.

+ Steward and cooperate with internal and external EHS audits to support compliance certification and meet SBD expectations; provide oversight and on-time closure of audit corrective actions, and report on audit results as necessary.

+ Work with local engineering, maintenance, and paint staff, plus IHQ representatives, to ensure that all project planning includes any applicable and necessary EHS considerations, as the leader of the EHS Committee.

+ Drive continuous improvement through leadership in change management and active engagement with site leadership.
