Hiring Range : $19.30- $25.83
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
+ Creates agendas and records notes and action items for Nursing Services team meetings.
+ Tracks project budgets by processing POs, invoices, and providing monthly updates to the leadership team to ensure expenses are aligned with FY budgets.
+ Maintains daily, monthly, and annual calendars for maximum productivity and organization.
+ Creates high-level presentations and communication materials using a variety of programs and media.
+ Creates correspondence, action items, reports, memorandums, special projects, and related materials
+ Supports departmental staff in completing clerical duties, including but not limited to answering telephones, scheduling appointments, setting up meeting rooms, preparing agendas,photocopying, ordering of supplies, and record keeping..
+ Assists staff with facilitating educational programs, including clinical orientation and in-service education. Coordinates the administration of academic student management. Assures that the planning and event coordination are completed according to the established timeline and schedule.
+ Aid with the learning management system, reviewing course content, processing and analyzing reports, and general maintenance.
+ Supports the Shared Governance Structure and Nursing Excellence initiatives for Pathway to Excellence.
+ Collaborates with Quality on the data entry of Nursing Sensitive Indicators in NDNQI
+ Maintain the Nursing Internal Web page in collaboration with Marketing.
Additional Responsibilities:
+ May assist the Staffing Coordinator with nurse assignments and schedules.
+ Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required in order to accommodate all staff fromthroughout the organization.
+ Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
+ Minimum of two years of experience with project management/ coordination, preferably in a healthcare setting.
+ Familiarity with nursing/medical terminology
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
+ Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s databases, including, but not limited to, SharePoint, UKG, Microsoft Teams, etc..
