As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, the Audit Team Lead is responsible for the proper function of audit activities under their direction in a manner consistent with service, quality and cost objectives and guidelines. The Audit Team Lead determines methods, operations, sequences, and set-ups to perform audits. Audits products for non-conformance/compliance to standards and/ or special requirements. The QA ITC Audit Lead ensures audit findings are reported to Operations Leadership staff, QSHE office staff and to Quality leadership staff.
How you create impact
+ Auditor daily attendance report emailed each day within one hour of shift to the leadership distribution
+ Distribute supplies/equipment to team members
+ Organize orders by date and order size in Post Pick – Small
+ Stage totes on auditors’ stations in Post Pick – Small
+ Replenish department supplies
+ Morning audit report completion and report out to customer at morning meeting
+ Verify all turnback’s throughout the day
+ Ensure breaks are taken on time and not abused
+ Understand audit process in all areas (PP-S, PP-B, ITC, 446)
+ Understand the different expectations for domestic orders versus international orders
+ Ensure auditors keep their areas clean and organized with trash taken out at end of each shift
+ Ensure auditing team remains on task
+ Be sure to stagger the staff in each area to plan
What we would like you to bring
+ Minimum Education: High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degree
+ Preferred Requirement: One (1) year experience in a lead or supervisory role
+ Successful completion of all required QSHE and related training
+ Employee will be expected to follow procedures introduced via on the job training
+ Elevating potential situations to the next level of supervision when required
+ Identify and correct mistakes/inconsistencies when receiving/completing paperwork
+ Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
+ Proven basic math skills at the high school level
+ Ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
+ Computer skills
+ Fluent in English
