    Position overview:

    We’re seeking an Electrical Assembler II in Phoenix, AZ to

    join a high-impact rail modernization program that’s transforming public

    transit. In this hands-on role, you’ll help build and maintain the electrical

    systems that power light rail vehicles—directly contributing to safer, more

    reliable transportation for thousands of daily riders. If you're driven by

    What your day may look like:

    + Perform hands-on electronic andelectromechanical work in a depot (out shop) environment, supporting light railvehicle upgrades and maintenance.

    + Build and install cable harnesses and electricalsubassemblies by connecting, cutting, combing, twisting, wrapping, and tyingwires.

    + Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshootcircuits using multimeters and other shop instruments; conduct inspections onincoming materials and final assemblies.

    + Disassemble, refurbish, and reassemblecomponents and systems to meet operational standards.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints, wiringdiagrams, parts lists, sketches, and verbal instructions.

    + Safely climb ladders, work overhead, andoccasionally operate in tight or elevated spaces.

    + Use a variety of hand and power tools;certifications such as crane or forklift operation may be required.

    + Share your expertise by training others andidentifying opportunities for process improvements.

    + Be flexible to support project needs, which mayinclude overtime, weekend shifts, or alternate schedules.

    What will make you thrive:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + 6–8 years of hands-on assembly experienceworking with large equipment such as trucks, trains, aircraft, or similar.

    + Proficiency in wire crimping, soldering, harnessassembly, and basic electrical testing—must successfully complete a practicalskills assessment.

    + Solid understanding of manufacturing safetyprotocols and proper use of PPE; must be physically capable of lifting up to 40lbs. and working in confined or elevated spaces.

    + Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity,and a collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

    Work environment & conditions

    + Exposureto fumes/airborne particles, moving parts, varying temperatures,occasional electrical shock risk and vibration. Noise may exceed 85 dB.

    **The base salary rate for this position inPhoenix, AZ starts at $22.26/hr.** The actual wage offered may be higher or lower

    depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and

    qualifications.
