Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Phlebotomist** to work at a Facility in **Stockton , California.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.

**Pay Rate:** $20 / hour

Job Details:

+ Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: PHLEB Shift: 1 Start: 08:00:00 End: 16:30:00

Minimum** **Qualifications:

+ **At least one year (12 months) of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) in Phlebotomy**

+ Must have up to date credentials in the state of **CA**

+ A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

+ Ability to build rapport with patients

+ Compassionate and caring demeanor

+ Familiarity with medical terminology

Job Responsibilities (not limited to):

+ Collect and store blood samples from patients

+ Distribute samples to designated departments

+ Monitor storage and inventory of supplies

+ Maintain clean and healthy work environment

+ Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures

+ Practice proper patient identification

+ Label vials with patient names and dates

+ Decipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient

+ Expect to work with many patients varying in age and health status

+ Be friendly, courteous and sympathetic when it comes to working with patients

+ Keep your phlebotomy cart or station well-organized

+ Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment
