    We are currently looking for a Project Reporting Analyst I/ II/ Sr for our Houston, TX office.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Projects Reporting Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to both Operations and Engineering teams, delivering high-impact insights, visual reporting, and communication support for capital and expense projects. This role is responsible for transforming complex project data into clear, actionable information that enhances transparency, supports decision-making, and drives performance. By developing and maintaining dashboards, analyzing key metrics, and facilitating effective communication, the analyst will help ensure projects stay aligned with organizational goals and timelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track project performance using tools like Power BI, Excel, SharePoint and other visualization platforms

    + Consolidate data from multiple sources to produce high-level summaries for leadership.

    + Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to gather, validate, and interpret project-related data.

    + Partner with Project Controls and Engineering & Construction to analyze project data including variances, schedules, and resource metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

    + Recommend and implement improvements to reporting processes, tools, and data management and workflows.

    + Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and reports.

    + Ensure timely and accurate communication of project updates to internal and external stakeholders.

    + Prepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.

    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

    + 2–7 years of experience in project reporting, data analysis, or operations support, preferably within the energy industry.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

    + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.

    + Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple reporting streams.

    + Familiarity with project performance metrics (cost, schedule, resource utilization) and KPI tracking.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.

    PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Experience with Six Sigma

    + Experience in Project Controls

    + Experience with Risk Modeling

    + Previous experience in midstream or oil & gas industry

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    + Bachelor’s Science degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related
